To make life simpler for Prospect customers and newbies to the Prospect community, we've simplified the Company/Division hierarchy & UI.
The ability to have a Company with multiple Divisions is great when you need it...but let's be honest, 90% of your customers have just 1 office! So creating a Company then a Division underneath is more-often-than-not just an unnecessary step. So, in the majority of cases you'll now see a single screen merging the Company and Division screens into a single, unified Company screen - meaning less complexity and less clicks to find the data you need.
Here's a quick summary of how it works:
> By default, when you create a new record, you'll now be creating a "single" Company (a customer that has just 1 location).
> And, to simplify all the records you've created over the years, any companies in your data that have just one Division, will be automatically converted to a "single" Company.
> But, when you do need to set up a customer with more than 1 office, or perhaps an existing customer opens up a second location, shop, office, etc in a few years time, it's super-simple to convert them into a Company Group and utilise the full hierarchy you're used to.
> There's also a unified search with one set of results that finds Single Companies, Company Groups and Divisions without you having to even think about which type of record you're looking for.

So, to help you send highly targeted campaigns in Mailchimp , you can now 'tag' contacts in Mailchimp right from any list or report within the CRM interface. Whether you're using a pre-made Report like 'Customers who bought X but not Y' or want to build your own, you can now tag'em with just a click of a button!
Sending quotes, lightening fast, to prospects and customers is essential - especially when you've got enquiries coming in thick and fast! But attaching docs and PDFs to those emails can be time-consuming and tedious. If there's one thing we all hate it's this: Slow processes = Frustrated Staff + Less sales!
Take this scenario: you're a Sales person, you send lots of quotes out every day to potential customers. Attaching that all-important PDF ten times-over is gonna slow you down!
In Prospect, you can now set documents, like Word docs and PDFs, as default attachments on any of your email templates...making quote-sending lightening fast and super easy! 🙌

In Prospect, you can create both B2B contacts (business-to-business) and B2C contacts (individuals) - but what if a contact registers with you and then you find out they're part of a business? Or, maybe you created a B2B contact by accident (we're all human!), and need to convert them into a B2C contact quickly. Rather than going through the rigmarole of deleting it and starting all over again, simply convert it with a click of a button - here's how!
What's more, if you've got a load of B2B contacts, perhaps imported from another system like Xero, Unleashed, Cin7, etc. that should really be B2C contacts, you can even select a whole load of them and "bulk update" them into B2C records.
Trying to convert prospects to customers is certainly a challenge, but for Wholesalers and Distributors, getting customers to buy again and again is arguably much more important...
