In Prospect, you can create both B2B contacts (business-to-business) and B2C contacts (individuals) - but what if a contact registers with you and then you find out they're part of a business? Or, maybe you created a B2B contact by accident (we're all human!), and need to convert them into a B2C contact quickly. Rather than going through the rigmarole of deleting it and starting all over again, simply convert it with a click of a button - here's how!
What's more, if you've got a load of B2B contacts, perhaps imported from another system like Xero, Unleashed, Cin7, etc. that should really be B2C contacts, you can even select a whole load of them and "bulk update" them into B2C records.
Tagging now lets you profile and categorise customers, contacts, opportunities, problems, quotes, orders, documents...you name it! Once you've set your tags, these can be used to filter lists of companies or contacts (or virtually anything) when reporting, enabling you to efficiently segment your data however you want. For example, if you're selling sportswear and accessories, you could add tags to indicate customers who are interested in a certain sport, like "Cricket", "Rugby" or "Tennis". From there, you could add those with a tag of "Rugby" into an email campaign when you have an offer on for all your rugby-related products!
And, if you use different tags for different things, say several tags for sports, and other tags for other things, you can group all the sports tags as blue, and all the tags related to (say) their premises in green. It's totally up to you. In fact, the beauty of tags is their flexibility!
For customers that have Xero integrated to Prospect (or are using Unleashed with Xero as a secondary connection), you can now see a live view of the Xero Aged Receivables report against customers in Prospect. Without switching apps, you'll know exactly which customers have paid, and which customers haven't. For Sales Reps, this means you can check to see if customers have any outstanding payments due before letting them place more orders. This is often one of the most effective moments to ask for payment from a slow-payer!
P.S. In this release, you can access this report by navigating to the Sales Ledger screen in the CRM. But, if two clicks seems too much effort, don't worry - we're making it even easier to access from the main customer record in the CRM (the Division screen) in the next release!
Any users can add product images via the CRM, and then include those in their quotation documents. But, now, for anyone using Unleashed for Inventory Management, these images are now automatically imported from Unleashed straight into Prospect CRM, meaning you don't have to manually update or import them any longer - saving you time and effort!
So, for all you Unleashed customers out there, if you haven't already added product images to your quotation documents, why not?...and say 'hello' to creating snazzy-looking quotes!
(P.S. if you don't want to use the same images that you've set up in Unleashed, you can turn this auto-import off in the Settings. But, also, if you've already manually set images from within the CRM, this will be turned off by default - to avoid accidentally overwriting your existing images.
